Who is the Designer?

I’m Jadie Geleerd, a graduating senior from University of Illinois School of Art and Design majoring in Studio art with a concentration in Fashion. I have designed and constructed garments for live fashion shows, jewelry, sculptures, paintings, photography, graphic design and more - both in Champaign, IL  and Florence, Italy. I’m most proud of the entrepreneurial leap I took in 2021 when I executed on my idea to design, make and sell up-cycled bags and purses made from jeans, which became Jurses by Jadie, a US trademarked brand offering.  ​
